Mr. Chamblee lead the professional team for the Property Condition Assessment of both multi-level Italian Renaissance designed 30-story office buildings, located in the CBD of Houston, in 2003 while Principal Architect for LAW. Assessment included evaluation and assessment of all interior and exterior building systems and development of life-cycle costing for maintenance and replacement program.

C+A personnel headed a Project Team during the evaluation of building systems for a long-term historic building restoration program. Evaluation included the review of exterior enclosure systems, fire and life safety, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems and accessible building codes. The project includes a renovation design program to address applicable building code issues and life safety elements for the 108-year 3-story with basement Federal Courthouse Building. Completed in 2010.

C+A were the enclosure system consultants during the Enclosure System evaluation, assessment and design of the renovation and restoration program for the 1895, 2-story, historical building owned by the Junior League of Victoria,. The building, a Romanesque Revival style structure, is a Registered Texas Historic Landmark (1980) and entered into the Register of Historic Places in 1986. Current work in progress.

C+A assisted Patterson Architects as the Enclosure Consultant for evaluation, assessment and design of the renovation and restoration program for the exterior system of the 4-story 40,000 sf footprint historic Courthouse Building. The Renovation program addressed the building envelope's wall components consisted of travertine panels, pre-cast concrete panels with aluminum curtain wall glazing system, and masonry veneer assemblies. The renovation program addressed reroofing the Building and the design of a new aluminum curtain wall glazing system for the building. The firm of Patterson Architects designed the interior renovation of the Courthouse Building. Estimated renovation cost $4.2M and completed in 2010.
